SJC Ventures announces grocer, new tenants and appoints leasing and management firms for Interlock Tower at Northside

ATLANTA, Ga. — SJC Ventures, a premier Atlanta-based mixed-use, grocery-anchored retail and multi-family development firm, recently announced new openings, leases and agencies for Interlock Tower at Northside, phase two of the expansive mixed-use district.

Last month, Pinky Promise Champagne Bar, a champagne piano bar, opened its doors at Interlock Tower at Northside. Located at 1042 Northside Drive NW in Suite P125, the space offers a unique, female-focused experience, with a dedication to celebrating womanhood.

Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, featuring authentic Italian ice, soft ice cream and gelati served in a vibrant and fun atmosphere, will also be joining Interlock Tower, as well as two new office tenants: Trevelino/Keller, a reputation marketing firm, and Nexus Cognitive, a data management firm.

SJC Ventures also named Lidl as the grocer to anchor Interlock at an affordable price and is known for their farm-to-table produce that is locally sourced from farms as close as possible to their stores, then transported in trucks uniquely designed for freshness.

“We are committed to create an amenity driven, energetic and connected community and an investment to bring grocery is essential to all of West Midtown,” said Jeff Garrison, principal of SJC Ventures, owner of Interlock Tower. “We’re thrilled to meet the community’s needs and to deliver not only the best place for food and entertainment but also the best place to live and work.” Tower. With several locations in the United States, Lidl offers healthy and fresh high-value products

“We are delighted to see Lidl join the West Midtown community and in particular, to the western edge of the Georgia Tech campus,” said Tony Zivalich Jr., associate vice president of real estate for Georgia Tech. “This grocer has a proven global track record that serves the needs of the Georgia Tech community with a walkable, high quality, affordable, locally sourced food option for our students, staff and faculty as well as the growing residential population in the West Midtown Community.”

The developer also recently retained Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate services firm, to handle future leasing at the property. Aileen Almassy and Will Porter of Cushman & Wakefield will oversee office leasing efforts.

“Interlock Tower at Northside provides access to the area’s future talent pipeline, an amenity-rich environment and a unique opportunity to attract office users looking to choose quality product in West Midtown with well capitalized ownership,” said Almassy, vice chair at Cushman & Wakefield.

Additionally, Bridger Properties, a full-service commercial real estate company, has been chosen to handle property management.

“We are thrilled about the opportunity to partner with a best-in-class owner and developer in SJC Ventures to manage Interlock Tower at Northside,” said Jack Arnold, co-founder and principal at Bridger Properties. “This is a landmark property in one of the country’s fastest growing sub-markets, West Midtown. Our experienced team will work tirelessly to make sure this unique asset shines.”
Several move-in ready suites offering immediate occupancy are now available on site in multiple sizes. Interlock Tower offers a prime location on Northside Drive in Atlanta, with dining, future grocery, student housing for Georgia Tech University and a nine-level parking deck with a Starbucks drive-thru located inside the parking structure — all within walking distance of The Interlock, the property’s first phase located on the corner of Howell Mill Road NW and 14th St. NW.

“Interlock Tower is the extension of phase one and we are thrilled to offer a first in class, vibrant addition to the already thriving mixed use district right next door,” said Garrison. “With one of the best leasing and management teams in Atlanta and new openings now every few months, Interlock Tower is adding a new dimension to this market segment that will continue to benefit residents and visitors.”

Tenants currently open at Interlock Tower include Five Guys, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, Starbucks, Salon Lofts, Eleven Nail Bar and GoodVets. The property will also include a rooftop culinary experience by Wagyu House that will offer stunning views of the Atlanta skyline.
