ATLANTA, Ga. — Interlock Tower, the second phase of the mixed-use district at The Interlock and a sprawling 272,766-square-foot property designed for unparalleled entertainment, student living, retail, dining and grocery, recently celebrated the inclusion of multiple new tenants, including Starbucks and Kura Revolving Sushi Bar.
Starbucks opened its doors on Wednesday, May 1 at Interlock Tower. Located at 1042 Northside Dr. NW in Suite M100, the 3,000-square-foot coffee shop also features a drive-thru for those needing caffeine on the go.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, located at 1042 Northside Drive in suite G115, features more than 140 dishes on its menu, including sushi, udon, ramen, mochi and more. Patrons can enjoy a technology-driven dining experience, with the ability to select a variety of sushi plates directly from a conveyor belt as they come by. All menu items can also be ordered on a touchscreen at the table and then delivered via an express belt, and Kur-B the KuraBot, the restaurant’s robotic drink delivery robot, will bring soft beverages tableside.
“We are thrilled to welcome these two new dining establishments to Interlock Tower and know they will be a great addition to our lineup for residents, students and visitors at phase two of The Interlock property,” said Jeff Garrison, principal at SJC Ventures, the developer of Interlock Tower. “It has always been our goal to provide value and top of the line amenities that complement and enhance the existing offerings in West Midtown with Interlock Tower, and the community can continue to expect that as our full tenant roster opens over the next few months.”
The soft opening for Kura Revolving Sushi Bar was held on Thursday, April 18. During the grand opening on April 21, 22 and 23, dine-in guests enjoyed freebies and authentic Japanese cuisine served on a double layer conveyor belt.
Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is now open Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.; and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Other tenants currently open at Interlock Tower include Five Guys, Salon Lofts, Eleven Nail Bar and GoodVets. Pinky Promise Champagne Bar will also soon join the property, along with Wagyu House, a rooftop culinary experience with stunning views of the Atlanta skyline.
Anchored by a 42,000-square-foot grocery store that will be announced later this year, Interlock Tower features 670 rooms for Georgia Tech student housing, 275,000 square feet of commercial space and limited additional restaurant opportunities.
